KGB declassified WWII documents (video)

The State Security Committee (KGB) of Belarus has organized an exhibition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It is held in the building of the KGB. Many of the exhibits, earlier classified, are on display for the first time. The documents were brought to the exhibition from the Central Archive of the KGB and the State Archives of Minsk Region.

According to BELTA, the declassified documents shed light on the period of the Nazi occupation of Belarus. It is government information messages, pictures taken in a POW camp in Barysau, the materials on the activities of the special Soviet KGB groups on the Belarusian land.
