Italian clergymen to stand trial for hiding Vika Maroz

Two Italian priests will stand trial for hiding Vika Maroz in Genoa soon. Priests Danilo Grilo and Francis Darbelli are suspects in the case that has started to be investigated recently.

According to the Office of Public Prosecutor, they and the Giusto-Bornacin family are accused of hiding a Belarusian orphan Vika Maroz for 20 days in the Alps.

The priests do not consider themselves guilty and say that the fact that the girl was forcibly separated from the Italian family is a crime.
