Israel starts “cleanup” of Gaza Strip
Israeli troops have entered the indicated positions in the Gaza Strip this Monday and are going to start the next stage of the ground operation – cleaning up the territory from Palestinian militants and “the infrastructure of terror”.
“RIA Novosti” informs about it referring to “Yedioth Ahronoth” newspaper. The main fights are observed in the northern part of the enclave separated from the rest of the territory together with the city of Gaza during the Israeli offensive.
Six Israeli soldiers were wounded last night. One soldier has been killed and 30 wounded since the operation started.
