Hooligans pay over $9K for beating a Minsk policeman

A policeman in Minsk who was beaten up by hooligans has received over $9000 in damages.
The Zavodski district court in the Belarusian capital found four Minsk residents guilty of using violence against a police officer on duty and ruled they should pay compensation. The Police Captain approached a drunk company and displayed his police ID.

However, the hooligans were not impressed. Instead, they heavily beat up the officer. Interfax does not report whether they are facing any additional prosecution apart from the money compensation.
