Film dated for anniversary of BPR is shot
A producer Yury Hashchavatski and a writer Uladzimir Arlou have shot a film about the establishment of the Belarusian People’s Republic. The script writer Uladzimir Arlou informed ERB that the film had been shot especially for the recent Belarusian Week in Strasbourg. However, the authors shot the film for Belarusian viewers. Arlou: The film is an attempt to find the answer why the BPR did not manage to become a state 90 years ago. It shows the role of Europe and big states in it. We are reasoning whether we are facing a recurrence of that old attitude to Belarus in the 21st century.
