The Exploited will not be performing at Zahid

The British band The Exploited will not be performing at the Ukrainian Festival Zahid, because it is no longer wanted by the festival organizers. This is what band members told Euroradio:

"I have just been told that the promoter is now telling us not to play, which is fair enough of him. They would not let us play now."

The group has already been removed from the program and the list of the Zahid festival participants.

The Exploited refused to perform at the Zakhid music festival in Ukraine saying they could not play along such bands as BRUTTO. The Exploited's frontman Wattie Buchan referred to 'too much shit' received about BRUTTO. He also mentioned a video where the band was allegedly depicted abusing an old man.

Later, the band apologized for the words about BRUTTO and agreed to perform. That's what they explained to Euroradio:

"I believe that we were misinformed about this band. So I apologize for the fact that we said things that I now think were not true."

Apparently, after the scandal, the festival organizers decided not to have the British musicians perform at the festival.
