European Commission's mission visits Minsk

A European Commission's mission led by Jean-Eric Holzapfel, a coordinator for Belarus at the Kiev-based European Commission's Delegation to Ukraine and Belarus, today begins a three-day visit in Minsk to discuss cooperation projects in the framework of the 2008 National Action Program.
According to the TACIS Office in Minsk, the mission will comprise experts from Brussels and Kiev who will meet with officials from the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and several NGOs, reports Belapan.

The sides are planned to discuss the implementation of environmental projects in the framework of the 2008 National Action Program. The European Commission has allocated Euro 5 million for those projects.
