European Commission urges to release, rehabilitate all political prisoners
The European Commission noted Zmitser Dashkevich's release, awaits for other political prisoners to be set free soon.
European Commissioner Štefan Füle's Spokesperson Peter Stano has said this in an interview to Radio Liberty.
Stano has noted that Dashkevich's sentence was unfair, unacceptable and politically motivated. "We insist that Belarus should release and rehabilitate all political prisoners immediately, regardless of their imprisonment terms," the representative of the European Commission has said.
