EU official journal publishes updated variant of Belarusian 'black list'

The day before it became known that the European Union had prolonged the sanctions against the Belarusian officials for a year. The Council of the EU took the corresponding decision on October 29.



It was stated in the message that it happened because "political prisoners have not been released and no improvements in the sphere of respect for human rights, supremacy of law and democratic principles happened in Belarus."



The list of persons banned from entering the EU countries whose financial assets in the EU should be frozen contains 232 names. Previously, it was informed that 3 people would be added to the list while 13 people and 5 companies would be crossed out.
