Estonia, Poland to back Georgia and Ukraine over NATO membership

Polish President Lech Kaczynski on Tuesday visited in Tallinn his Estonian counterpart Toomas Hendrik Ilves.  The talks focused on the upcoming NATO Summit in Bucharest on April 2-4. The leaders of Estonia and Poland are holding consultations on how to support the strive of Georgia and Ukraine to get closer with the NATO block.

The negotiations's agenda also includes the neighborhood policy in the East, EU's energy policy, cooperation between Poland and the Baltic states in the communication and energy sectors, reports euro.pap.pl.
