Entrepreneurs accused of participation in meetings to stand trials on April 16
A hearing of “the case of fourteen” will start in Minsk Central District Court on Friday, April 16. Andrei Kim’s lawyer Tamara Sidarenka informed nn.by about it. M.Pashkevіch, A.Bondar, A.Barazenka, P.Vіnahradau, U.Syarheyeu, A.Dubskі, A.Straltsou, A.Charnyshou, A.Kіm, A.Koipіsh, M.Kryvau, M.Subach, T.Tsіshkevіch and M.Dashuk will stand trial for the meeting of entrepreneurs that took place in Minsk on January 10.
The young people are accused according to art. 342-1 of the Criminal Code: “Organization and preparation of actions violating the civil order or active participation in them”. The article may lead to fines or imprisonment for up to three years.
Andrei Kim will also stand trial on April 16. He is accused of two things. The legal proceedings started on April 1 but the trial was postponed because the two cases were united.
Andrei Kim is also accused according to art. 364 of the Criminal Code (“violence directed at a policeman or threatening a policeman with violence”). The guy is threatened with 6 years of imprisonment. The incident was said to have taken place during another entrepreneurs’ meeting that took place on January 21.
