Committee in defence of Syarhei Parsyukevich is created in Vitsebsk
A civil committee in defence of a civil activist, the leader of the entrepreneurs’ movement Syarhei Parsyukevich who was beaten in prison in Akrestsina Street was been created in Vitsebsk. Let us remind you that Parsyukevich was arrested for taking part in an entrepreneurs meeting at Kastrychnistakaya Square of the capital. According to the entrepreneur, a prison guard severely beat him on January 21. Mascouski District Office of Public Prosecutor is investigating the case now.

“The initiative group of four people is going to draw the attention of the public, political leaders and OSCE representatives to the problem of the Vitsebsk activist.
According to the head of the civil committee Hrystafor Zhalyapau, Parsyukevich may be accused of having attacked the policeman. The attention of the public will help to make the investigation more or less impartial”.
It is reported that Syarhei Parsyukevich who is suffering from asthma and stomach problems cannot meet anyone: he is in a very serious psychological and physical condition after everything that happened to him.
