Cement shortages for private construction companies

Despite the enforcement of the unified prices for cement, private construction companies still face the lack of supplies.
"The situation deteriorated even further last week. When we order for 200-300 cubic meters of cement, suppliers sell us 30-50 only," said a representative of the Aresa-Service-Stroi construction company.

Komkon construction company would also confirm the current difficulaties with the cement supplies.

At the same time, the state-owned construction company MAPID which builds housing on a contract with the government, experiences no problems with cement supplies, according to the Belapan news agency.

"We have one-year contracts with cement factories, which meet our demand fully," MAPID said, reports Telegraf.by.
