BSU team to take part in programming championship final

The team of Belarusian State University is our only team that has made it to the final of the world students’ programming championship. The semi-final of the North-Eastern European competition took place in Saint Petersburg the other day.
199 university teams from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan took part in it. The team of BSU consists of Kanstantsin Bahdanau, Alyaksei Labanau and Alyaksei Tolstsikau. They solved 8 of the 11 presented problems in 5 hours.

100 universities will take part in the final of the world championship that will take place in China in February 2010, reports BelaPAN.
