Broadcasting of independent satellite TV channel “BelSat” to start today
However, the first Belarusian independent TV channel will be broadcasting for only three hours per day for the time being. News, publicistic programmes and announcements of the most interesting programmers will be shown there.
Test broadcasting will last for about two months and then the channel will start working in its normal regime – 16 hours per day.
The signal will be transmitted with the help of the “Astra” satellite in December and the satellite “Sirius” will be added in January.
