Bellegprom concern head charged with bribery
The Investigation Committee continues inquiry into the criminal case against corruption in the light industry of Belarus, BELTA reports.
Concern head Mikalai Sichkou and director of Slonim worsted fabrics factory Valyantsina Vyanskouskaya regularly received money from many representatives of facilities. They were paid for solving problems with equipment supplies for modernization of enterprises in Bellegprom. Mikalai Suchkou’s charges would be connected with modernization, economist Leanid Zaika told Euroradio earlier.
The head of the concern was charged with bribery. The director of Slonim worsted fabrics factory is still a suspect. Both of them are in jail now.
