Belarusian Pro-Independence Block to nominate 586 candidates for local elections
The Council of the Belarusian Pro-Independence Block today discussed the list of candidates to be nominated for taking part in the local elections, scheduled for April 25. During the meeting, preliminary lists were discussed. As of today, 586 people are prepared to run for a seat t local council on behalf of the Belarusian Pro-Independence Block (BNB) led by Alexander Milinkevich.
The lists are expected to be approved by regional coalition by February 1. The final list of BNB nominees will be announced by February 10.
