Belarusian district newspapers to become coloured starting from 2008
Belarusian district newspapers may become coloured starting from 2008. The Ministry of Information has reported it.
The state allocated money for equipment needed to print regional and district periodicals.
Almost 800 million dollars has been paid for the equipment supplied this year. It is being installed in Vitsebsk and Homel.
It will probably be up to officials from district executive committees to decide whether subscribers of state editions will receive black and white or coloured editions.
