Belarusfilm becomes profitable
According to the results of the last five months the national film studio made 430 million BRB. The deputy head on production of Belarusfilm Alyaksandr Tsyalushka informed about it.
According to him, the studio is going to build accommodation for actors and producers now. A global reconstruction of the studio’s buildings and territories is also planned.
Tsyalushka thinks that cinema should perform an ideological function.
Three films are being shot at Belarusfilm now: about the present day army, about the first days of the Great Patriotic War and a Russian film about war.
By the way, the film studio announced winners of the contest for the best plot of a film dated for the Independence Day yesterday.
Alyakseu Dudarau won with his “Dniepr boundary” – a story about the defense of Mahileu. The film will be shot next year.
