Belarus woman could be aboard crashed plane in Russia
25-year-old Belarus citizen Yulia Maksimenka could be aboard the plane that crashed on September 14 near the Russian city of Perm, according to the relatives who has failed to get in contact with this woman.
Yesterday, Belarus's foreign ministry dismissed reports that a Belarusian was on the list of 82 passengers of the doomed flight. Officials said the list of passengers contained Yulia Maksimenko, born in 1981, a Russian citizen and a resident of Perm.
But the relatives of Yulia Maksimenka in Belarus maintain that the girl booked her tickets through the internet so she was not on the list of passengers.
The relatives said in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda v Belarusi that Yulia lived in the Czech Republic and would fly to Perm through Moscow on business missions.
