Belarus trade union federation accused of signature forgery

The Russian Federation of Independent Trade Union has accused the Trade Union Federation of Belarus of signature forgery, according to a letter from the Russian trade union leader Mikhail Shmakov to the chairman of the Trade Union Federation of Belarus, Leanid Kozik. The letter said that the signatures of representatives from the Russian trade unions were copied and appeared under the appeal to the European Commission, requesting not to exclude Belarus from the EU's General Preferences System. The Russians are concerned with the behavior of "certain staff of the Trade Union Federation of Belarus" and with the fact that trade unions in different countries were misinformed, reports Telegraf.by.
