Belarus suggests including Russia and Kazakstan in Eastern Partnership
Belarus has suggested including Russia, Kazakhstan and member states of “The Association of Free Trade” – Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Lichtenstein – in the Eastern Partnership. The press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andrei Savinyh informed about it at a briefing in Minsk. Let us remind you that an informal summit of the European Union will take place in Spat, Poland, on May 24.
The Belarusian Foreign Minister Syarhei Martynau will attend it too. He is expected to discuss the Polish-Spanish initiative to create a group of members of the Eastern Partnership.
Martynau will meet Foreign Ministers of Spain and Ukraine during the summit.
