Belarus repeatedly refuses to return Bakiev to Kyrgyzstan

Belarus refused to the authorites of Kyrgyzstan in extradition of Kurmanbek Bakiev for the second time. This was informed by the General Public Prosecutor of Kyrgyzstan Baitemir Ibraev on August 27 during the meeting in which the President Rosa Atunbaeva participated, informs RIA "Novosti". According to his words, the observing administration of Kyrgyzstan is going to appeal to Belarus with a request again. They also consider "other ways" of bringing Bakiev to responsibility.

The General Public Prosecution of the Republic of Belarus told the correspondent of the European Radio for Belarus that there was no information with regard to the second refusal in Bakiev's extradition.
