Belarus has no dual citizenship plans
The introduction of a dual citizenship in Belarus is not on agenda, Andrei Hiro, the head of the consular department at the Belarusian foreign ministry, said during the on-line press conference on the site of the Belta official news agency. The official said that under the effective Law on Citizenship of the Republic of Belarus, Belarusians are allowed to have foreign citizenship along with the Belarusian citizenship. However, a Belarusian is not considered a foreign national in this case.
