Belarus and Russia have united the electronic certification systems for food. The change affects unprocessed animal products, raw meat, milk and fish, head of the Russian Agricultural Inspectorate Sergei Dankvert announced. The unified electronic certification of finished products should come into force by April 2019, he said.

It will be possible to track the way of Belarusian sausages, kefir, oil, milk and curd snacks ‘from field to fork’, Belarus 1 reports. This is supposed to help Belarusian enterprises fight commercial counterfeiting on the Russian market (40 cases of commercial counterfeiting have been revealed this year).
