Average Belarusian wage increases by 2 thousands BRB – Ministry of Statistics

The nominal average monthly wage in Belarus in January-April was 641 thousand BRB.
According to the Ministry of Statistics and analysis, the average wage was 662 thousand BRB in April. It’s 2 thousands more than in March 2007.

The statistic institution notes that the real wage (including the growth of prices for goods and services) increased by 10.2% in January-April in comparison with the similar period of last year. The real wage increased by 0.6% in April in comparison with March.

The minimum budget for every member of a family of four was 275 thousand BRB in April 2007. On average, the minimum living wage is 178.7 thousands per person.
