51.5 thousand people detained for drunken driving in Belarus this year, 3 thousands detained for repeated drunken driving

Belarusian driving inspectors have detained 51.5 thousand drunken drivers this year. 3 thousands of them were detained for repeated drunken driving.
Vasil Bulbyankou, the acting head of the republican Driving Inspectorate, has informed about it. According to him, about 2 thousand drivers have already stood trial for repeated drunken driving.

Bulbyankou noted that the number of drunken drivers had not decreased despite of the introduction of a stricter punishment.
