300 people detained in Warsaw, 50 injured (video)

The clashes occurred in Warsaw on November 11. A march dated for Poland’s Independence Day was held there. The action was peaceful at the beginning. Thousands of people took part in it. However, a group of young people in masks (members of ultrarightist organizations) provoked clashes with the police – they started throwing petards and stones at policemen. The latter used water-cannons.

300 people were arrested, 50 (half of them are policemen) were injured.
