12:30 Independent TV channel to start broadcasting for Belarus in October
The Public Polish TV and the Ministry of Foreign Affaires have agreed to create a channel “TV Belarus”. According to the contract which is signed for several years, the channel will be financed with money from a reserve budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affaires of the Republic of Poland.
TV Belarus will be a satellite channel. It is planned to be broadcasting with the help of two satellites for 15 hours a day.
The channel will start broadcasting in October, reports the web site of “Charter-97” referring to “Polish Radio”.
