Zyanon Lomats's son-in-law sentenced to 4 years in prison

Aleg Raschenya, the former high-ranking police officer and the son-in-law of Zyanon Lomats, the head of the State Control Committee, has been sentenced to 4 years in prison and the confiscation of property. Besides, he will have to pay over Br 100 million to the state budget. Narodnaya Volya newspaper reports that he was found guilty of performing entrepreneurial activities without resistration or a license and office abuse.

The son-in-law of the top Belarusian official will serve his term in a high-security prison, according to the sentence.
