Will passengers be fined for using cell phones in zebra crossings?
Pedestrians may be fined for using cell phones in zebra crossings in Belarus. A source in the driving inspectorate has informed ERB that the suggestion has been made and will be considered alongside with other changes in the road rules to increase pedestrians’ responsibility for road safety. The initiators of the idea refer to Germany’s experience – the action results in a 100 euro fine there.
