Vitsebsk lecturer accepted “fees” for exams
Vitsebsk Regional Office of Public Prosecutor has started a criminal case against a lecturer of one of local higher educational institutions. The 39-year-old man made students pay “fees” for passing exams.
Students had to pay about 10 thousand roubles to get a good mark for “Commercial Activities”. One group collected 177 thousands.
One of the students brought their bribe to the lecturer on the evening of December 19. Both were caught red-handed. The lecturer may get up to seven years of imprisonment for the “practical course of commercial activities”.
