Video of Berkut storming barricades at Maidan
Berut fighters and internal troops took control of some barricades in the Maidan of Independence.
After several failed attempts, Berkut managed to take control, UNIAN notes. The policemen together with the people dressed as communal services workers dismounted the wooden and metallic constructions of the barricade in Instytutska Street after the seizure.
Every side took its positions after a many-hours contradiction. At the same time, other force structures broke the barricade from the side of the European Square, and took control over the traffic way.
