Victor Yushchenko to advance Belarusian language in Ukraine
Sub-faculties of the Belarusian language will be opening in Ukrainian universities. Victor Yushchenko informed about it after a meeting with Alyaksandr Lukashenka in Homel.
The Ukrainian President claimed that it was necessary to open a sub-faculty of the Belarusian language in one of Ukrainian universities in 2009. According to radio “Liberty”, Ukrainians would like to emphasize that they respect the Belarusian society trying to preserve its language, culture and history.
In his turn, Alyaksandr Lukashenka noted that the conversation about the language, schools, culture and monuments had been initiated by Victor Yushchenko.
