USSR Museum opened in Hlybokaye school
The idea to create the museum was suggested by head of the local District Executive Committee Aleh Morhat.
The website of the district newspaper Vesnik Hlybochchyny has reported it. The edition describes the Soviet time as ‘a period of incredible patriotism of citizens of different nationalities, the time of great work and discoveries, the humanities’ access to space and the development of boundless Siberian lands’.
Interestingly, the text says: “Not a single generation of ardent selfless patriots has grown up with the help of heroic Soviet traditions”.
Other district education institutions are getting interested in the museum, the edition reports.
