Thomas Melia meets with human rights activists
Thomas Melia, a representative of the US Department of State, has met with the Belarusian human rights activists in Minsk today. A lawyer Valiantsin Stefanovich has informed to BelaPAN that the human rights activists has told about the situation in Belarus after the presidential election, and also about the authorities' pressure not only on civil activists, but also on lawyers who defend the accused of the mass disturbances case.
