Syarhei Sidorski to discuss gas price for Belarus in Moscow today

The Belarusian Prime Minister Syarhei Sidorski is going to return to Moscow to discuss gas supplies and their cost with Russia. “ITAR-TASSS” informs about it referring to the Belarusian Embassy to Moscow.
According to a representative of the diplomatic mission, Minsk insists on paying 150 dollars or a bit more for one thousand cubic meters of gas. The Presidents of the two countries agreed on the terms of Russian gas supplies to Belarus at the end of December.

Representatives of “Beltransgaz” arrived in Moscow to discuss all the terms during the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations on December 30. However, it is unclear whether the contract was signed. The price of gas for Belarus in 2009 has not been announced yet.
