Students’ meeting in support of benefits is forbidden
Organizers of the action aimed at protesting against the cancellation of benefits for students and pupils and other categories of citizens planned for May 20 have received an official refusal from Minsk authorities today.
The head of Minsk City Executive Committee Mikalai Myatlitski explained the refusal by the fact that there were some repair works planned in the park of Friendship of Peoples on May 20.
No other place was proposed for the meeting. One of the action’s organizers Franak Vyachorka informed the European Radio for Belarus about it.
