The head of the Belarusian Supreme Council of the 12th convocation Stanislau Shushkevich has initiated the creation of a deputy club. All former and current parliamentarians respecting democratic values and supporting the independence of Belarus may join it. The deputy association is going to be called “Independence”.
A former deputy of the Supreme Council of the 12th convocation Syarhei Antonchyk thinks that the association should have been created long ago, reports udf.by.

The deputy club “Independence” is supposed to be engaged in the propaganda of European values in Belarus, development of the Belarusian language and culture and contacts with Western partners.
