Shoes from Baranavichy sold for $3 in order to clear stores

The State Control Committee has found an unsold stock of shoes that have been in the stores of the Baranavichy shoe factory since 2001.
The committee advised the factory's new management to sell out the unsold stock through the factory's shop at cheap prices. The shoes were sold out within two week, with some models costing just Br7-9000.

In 2008-2009, the factory reported losses of Br116 million. Inspections proved that 2500 pairs of shoes were missing at stores.
