Semashka: Price of Russian gas for Belarus from April will not exceed $160

Belarus's first deputy prime minister Uladzimir Semashka expects that the price of gas for Belarus from April 1, 1009 will not go beyond $160 per 1000 cubic meters.
Interfax news agency reminds that from January 1, 2009 the cost of gas imports for our country amounts to around $210 per 1000 cubic meters. Semashka has explained that the drop in the gas import price is due to the pricing formula which depends on the world oil prices.

According to Mr Semashka, Belarus has no problems with paying for the Russian gas in the first quarter of 2009.
