Russian MFA urges to stop blaming Russia for Ukrainian crisis

The international community should stop blaming Russia for the crisis in Ukraine, deputy head of the Russian MFA Sergey Rabkov told RBK. The search for culprits is ungrounded and unfounded, he believes.

The Western countries should affect ‘the party of war’ in Ukraine to help stabilize the situation there, Rabkov thinks.

The diplomat has recalled the Western sanctions imposed on Russia. The West should admit that the result of the sanctions is opposite to the previous expectations, he thinks.

“Nobody will make concessions under pressure and it only delays the prospects of a normal political process,” Rabkov said.
