Russia has claims against several Belarus enterprises

The Russian Agriculture Suvervisory Authority has claims against a number of Belarusian companies that export foodstuffs, deputy chairman Nikolay Vlasov said when commenting on Alexander Lukashenka's accusations that Russia does not meet its obligations on mutual trade, reports the Russian news agency Ria Novosti.
The Russian official stressed that Russia never restricted the supplies of foodstuffs from Belarus. At the same time, he admitted that Russia indeed introduced restrictions on several Belarusian producers over the quality standards or the lack of proper documents.

Vlasov mentioned a request of one of the Russian companies that had recently purchased 100 tons of milk powder from Belarus. The powder was sold as a high-quality product, yet it did not meet the expertise standards, the Russian official said.

However, the Belarusian company did not accept the claims of the Russian company and did not offer discounts on the product that did not meet the announced quality standards.
