Rock festival “For nuclear-free Europe” is promised by Belarusian and Polish “greens”
The Belarusian Party “Greens” (BPG) and a Polish party “Greens-2004” are going to organize a rock festival “For nuclear-free Europe”. The head of the BPG Aleh Novikau informed BelaPAN that the decision to hold the festival was taken at regional meetings of “the greens” at the Global Ecological Forum that was held in San-Paolo (Brazil) from May 1 till May 4.
The leader of the BPG noted that concerts would take place in Hrodna, Brest and some Polish towns situated near the border. Belarusian alternative musicians and Polish reggae bands are expected to take part in the rock festival.
