Weapons from Russia secretly shipped to Belarus
Illegal shipments lasted for nearly 1,5 years.
Weapons and military equipment were produced at one of the plants in the town Volzhski in Volgograd region. Military equipment was shipped to Belarus for several years. At first, the plant's director has a license for producing such equipment. However, when it expired he decided not to renew it, a Volgograd newspaper "Everything for You" writes.
Law-enforcement agents calculated that there had been illegal shipments of weapons for the total sum 42 million Russian roubles since March 2009 till August 2010. A criminal case for illegal entrepreneurship has been started against the director.
