Syarhej Kavalenka continues hunger-strike of protest
This is how the CCP BPF activist from Vitsebsk protests against his imprisonment in the pre-trial detention center in the city.
According to БелаПАН, a lawyer met with Kavalenka on January 4. He told his client about his wife's request to stop the hunger-strike which had lasted for the 18th day by then. However, Kavalenka said he would get back to eating only after release.
Alena Kavalenka is going to make an appointment with the pre-trial detention center's administration today. She is trying to pass her husband drinking water with the help of the doctors. The lady also hopes to obtain permission for a meeting with her husband in order to convince him to start eating.
