Syarhei Kavalenka to be supported in Kiev today
An action of solidarity with the Belarusian political prisoner will take place near the Belarusian Embassy in Kiev at 1 p.m.
The Belarusian Centre in Ukraine is the organizer of the action. Let us remind you that Syarhei Kavalenka was sentenced to 25 months in a colony for having violated “the home penal labour regime” (he was punished for hoisting a white-red-white flag on Vitebsk’s main New Year’s Tree). The CCP-BPF activist has been on hunger-strike with little breaks since December. Syarhei Kavalenka is not going to stop and has asked to organize actions in his support.
