Square convict, Russian citizen Breus is no longer registered in Minsk

Artsiom Breus is a son of aTV-host Jury Breus, who was famous in the past. Artsiom was born in Minsk. He spent his childhood in Estonia, and returned to his Homeland with a Russian citizen status. He was allowed to register in Belarus as a foreign citizen for a month first, and then the registration might have been renewed. However, after Artsiom Breus had been convicted for participation in the December 19 events, the state made him realise that it did not need potential citizens like him. Let us remind you, Artsiom Breus and another Russian citizen Ivan Haponau were considered guilty in mass disturbances.

Registration and permanent residence in a county give grounds for obtaining a residence permit, and then - a Belarusian citizenship. A designer and artist Artsiom Breus planned to get a residence permit in Belarus. He thinks this idea lost its sense now, the human rights center "Viasna" informs.
