Russian opposition announces "termless party" in Moscow

The action started late at night on Monday with 200 people. However, the ВВС has informed with a reference to a riot policeman, the number of participants grew by 10 times till 4 a.m.

The participants of the action returned to the Staraya Square closer to the morning. Previously, the riot police forced them off the Kitay-Gorod and the Chistiye Prudy having said that the action was illegal.

 

Opposition leaders Aleksei Navalnyi and Sergei Udaltsov urged the people not to leave. According to them, it is necessary to wait till morning when thousands of people will join the action and the "march of the million" will continue. The police, nevetheless, detained both Udaltsov and Navalnyi.
