Political prisoner Kavalenka to Lukashenka: "I'm asking to release me"
Syarhei Kavalenka has pled the state leader for mercy. The plea only contains the short statement from above.
The member of the CCP BPF has pled not guilty. It has became known after Kavalenka's brother and father had met him in colony. Kavalenka's meeting with his wife Alena and son Valentine is in process now, informs "Nasha Niva".
Let us remind you that Syarhei Kavalenka was sentenced to 25 month of imprisonment in February. He was accused of violating "the home penal labour regime" he had been sentenced to (for hoisting a white-red-white flag on the main New Year's Tree in Vitebsk).
International organizations recognize Kavalenka as a political prisoner.
